$150,000 for estate of Kankakee woman, 70 years old, with end stage renal disease and who required hemodialysis three times a week. She suffered from diabetes and had had a stroke previously. She was a resident of a Kankakee nursing home for about one month. During that month, she developed a pressure ulcer on her coccyx. She was transferred to the hospital for care of that and the other health problems she had. She died approximately one month later from another stroke.
